Organic Caraway Essential Oil

Caraway is helpful in love magick to keep the other from straying (or being stolen away), especially if they ingest caraway-sprinkled cakes. It has also been used to prevent the theft of physical objects that contain it, . Likewise, in Hoodoo, caraway seeds are seen as protective of children; this has spread into general magical practice in the US. As a Mercury herb, caraway is helpful in the acquisition of magical skills and for initiation into esotericism. Its scent, which is not like rye bread but a bit musky, to me has a whiff of the Underworld to it, which to my mind makes it appropriate for psychopomp rituals.  Steam-distilled from Carum carvi seed in Hungary. Combining With Other Essential Oils

This essential oil has the scent of caraway seed with a carroty undertone and is surprisingly musky. It blends well with anise, benzoin, blood orange, rosewood, cassia, cinnamon, clary sage, clove, coriander, costus, fir balsam, gurjun balsam, lavender, mimosa, rose, sandalwood, storax, tonka bean, tuberose, violet leaf, and ylang ylang.
