Jasminum grandfilorum Jasmine Absolute 10%
The scent of this jasmine oil is incredible–lush, wet, heavy--all you'd expect from a jasmine. The absolute, which is made from jasmine petals, is diluted to 10% in organic fractionated coconut oil. This is a typical dilution that allows you to use it as you'd use any other essential oil. Some like jasmine for Moon magic; there is indeed something very liquid about its scent. Typically, though it is considered ruled by Venus and its perfume is often incorporated into love magic in particular. Extracted from Jasminum sambac flowers in India. This is the night-blooming jasmine, which is a somewhat fresher and greener aroma than Jasminum grandiflorum, and which also lasts a bit longer in the drydown. Top

Combining With Other Essential Oils

You would not believe how helpful this scent is for panic attacks. Mix a few drops in a half ounce of carrier oil, and you have an extraordinarily relaxing rub. Jasmine blends well with beeswax, benzoin, bergamot, blood orange, rosewood, clary sage, clove, copal, coriander, currant bud, fennel, lavender, mimosa, orange blossom, petitgrain, rose, sandalwood, tonka bean, tuberose, violet leaf, and ylang ylang. Jasmine flowers are linked to sensual awakening across many cultures and practices–whether they're strewn on the bed of newlyweds or a primary ingredient of topnotch perfumes, their intoxicating aroma is surely stimulating. For an intoxicating oil that leads with jasmine, we recommend our Queen of the Night Oil. Top
