I've been wanting to add rose to my selection for a long time, and I finally decided to take the plunge. This is a beautiful rose absolute produced from the petals that is diluted to 10% (typical dilution for an absolute) with the same high quality golden jojoba I use to make my magic oils. This measure of dilution allows you to use it in the same way you would an essential oil. This particular absolute is of damask rose, which is sweet, waxy, and spicy with that old-time rose fragrance. Needless to say, this lush Venus scent is wonderful for love magic, but consider it as well for acquiring wisdom from feminine aspects of the divine. I like it for full Moon work too. Extracted from Rosa damascena in Bulgaria and diluted to 10% in golden jojoba to make it essential oil strength. Top Combining With Other Essential Oils Rose combines well with amber, balsam, benzoin, bergamot, cassia, cinnamon, citrus, clove, geranium, guaiacwood, jasmine, labdanum, laurel leaf, mace, neroli, oakmoss, orris, palmarosa, patchouli, sandalwood, storax, tonka bean, tuberose, vanilla, vetiver, violet leaf, and ylang ylang.
