This Earth plant doesn't look like much, and the leaves must be fermented before they produce the full blast of their scent (this is why this herb should be dark brown), but it's worth the trouble. This magick herb is good for grounding, communicating with Earth Elementals, and doing money spells. As an alleged aphrodisiac, it's great for sex magick. It is protective against negative magick. Combine 10:1 with white sandalwood to make a nice patchouli incense great for grounding. Or make a good sex magick incense/pot pourri from patchouli combined with pepper, cinammon,and rose - hot, sweet, and musky. Patchouli also combines well with frankincense, clove, citrus, lemongrass, coriander, and jasmine. Patchouli always reminds me of Nehru jackets, paisley bedspreads, and cultural revolution--good stuff! |
