Amber resin
This Fire substance is the semi-petrified resin of coniferous trees. It has a light, pleasant scent raw and the soft, rich scent typical of resins when heated. It is used for protection, cleansing, and purification. Like all the resins, amber has antibiotic and stimulating properties. This resin comes from China, where it is thought to be composed of the crystallized souls of tigers. It is traditionally applied in treatment of amnesia, dreaminess, and insomnia. It is pure resin and not adulterated with synthetic oils, as Indian amber resin is. Recently I sampled some Baltic amber, and it smelled nowhere near as nice as this.
