Crows inspire me and a lot of other magic workers. They have a quick wit and a nimble mind, mixing humor with the ability to make the best of every opportunity. They are quick to acquire skills, and they enjoy communicating with their comrades. They know how to seize an opportunity and to find enjoyment in what others reject. In addition, they have a good-sized magical reputation as representatives of the Underworld and association with spirit communication. For all those reasons, I put together this oil that is designed to bring out all those crow qualities in the user. It contains various types of dry, spice fruits, like black currant, juniper berry, and laurel berry (laurel also having an especial connection to magical work). These are enriched with the woodland scents of fir balsam and black spruce, and grounded with galbanum, but I've also added the quintessential divination herb, clary sage. This oil is helpful for learning magical crafts and spirit communication as well as for building community. Top
