Justice Oil
In Germany, for centuries, people conducted legal proceedings and settled disputes beneath linden trees planted in the middle of their village. It was thought that no lie could be uttered beneath one and that holding proceedings there would help restore justice and peace (even the name in German can mean "to soothe, calm"). For this reason, we center this justice oil on linden flowers. The scent is brightened with citrus (to shed honest light on a dispute), blooms with neroli (to sweeten a little), and is given a Jupiter twist with nutmeg (Jupiter rules legal questions). It is designed to be used in any rituals affecting the courts or legal work but also for protection, calm, and peace in a situation where two parties are disputing (like divorce). It can also be used for general issues of justice, including justice in terms of the unequal distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within our society--a problem that we cannot afford to ignore and that will take work from each of us to overcome (which is why we so often include samples of this oil when we ship our orders).
