Lucrum
Prosperity Oil
Warm, earthy, and spicy with a touch of fruit, this is my own formula. The traditional
Element associated with wealth is Earth, so for this oil I began with dark patchouli, galbanum, hay, spikenard,
and cumin. I added davana for its changeability
(a little reference to the Wheel of Fortune here). It
often smells like apples, which are the quintessential storage
fruit, and when we're talking abundance, we're talking a full storehouse.
I combined that with the smooth lusciousness of tonka and the sweetness
of hay. More references to wealth come in the use of the precious
resins frankincense and olibanum, and a dollop of muhuhu makes a
nice substitute for critically over-harvested sandalwood. The other
signifier of wealth I chose was spices, because they have for thousands of years been prized by human beings and associated
with wealth. Cardamom, coriander, and clove add spice to this mix. This oil is tailor-made for use in prosperity spells. top
