This annual Moon herb, red as a Moon in a dusty sky, has large bright blood-red flowers with very silky, double petals. This type and color of poppy has surprisingly been grown in England since the Middle Ages. It gets 3ft/90cm high. This is one of our oldest varieties but also one of the most popular.
