- #1 quality, hard brown tips of naturally
shed deer antlers. Deer antlers fall
off every year, and the animal grows a new set. Wildcrafters comb the
forest for these castoffs. One of these would make an absolutely wonderful tip
on a wand. By themselves they are large enough to make a very comfortable
and right-feeling tool for drawing magick circles and other ritual work. I use
one for digging mandrake roots. An
antler tip also makes a nice symbol for masculine power, male sexuality, and
the masculine aspect of the divine. Staghorn is an ingredient in some
types of ritual incense.
