Magic Inks

I have reformulated my inks and put them up in larger bottles that have a wider mouth, making them easier to use.These magic inks are all made from my premium dragonsblood resin, organic grain alcohol, filtered water, and essential oils. They contain no synthetic colors, artificial scents, or chemical extenders, and are made with magical intention by a witch, not by exploited sweatshop workers in Asia. Please be aware that these are not regular inks, nor are they inks that have been tarted up with a few drops of scent and called "dragonsblood." They are much lighter and grainier than an ordinary pen ink, which uses strong synthetic dye. Unlike ordinary ink, these inks are authentic and magically potent. I have Black Nightshade Ink, Dragonsblood Ink, Dove's Blood Ink, Bat's Blood Ink, and Butterfly Blood/Saffron Ink made with real saffron. If you need one for a specific purpose, let me know. Keep in mind that pure alcohol can damage mucous membranes. Do not ingest or paint on skin. Use a feather (the tip of the feather is often easier to deal with than the quill end), split reed, dip pen, or Q-tip.

Bat's Blood Ink

This magic ink has a long tradition of being used for creating havoc, hexing, binding, cursing, and so forth. It is made from refined dragonsblood resin, real indigo, best quality myrrh, cinnamon bark, gum arabic, perfumer's alcohol, & filtered water. Get some Bat's Blood Incense to go with it.

Black Nightshade InkBlack Nightshade Ink

Made from witch-grown black nightshade berries in the traditional manner, this ink is good for any Saturnian work, such as communicating with the dead, cursing, and binding. It starts out violet and turns light blue when it dries. It's a natural vegetable ink, so it will fade over time if exposed to sunlight and will probably turn gray eventually. You can take advantage of this color shift in your magic, inviting a particular event to occur or condition to decrease as the color changes. This is a handmade ink, like the others, but unlike them is based on vinegar instead of alcohol in order to extract the dye of the berries. No added scent--smells like vinegar, which is perfect for darker work. Limited supply.

Dove's Blood InkDove's Blood Ink
