White Sage, Whole
Salvia apiana
Europeans associate this traditional Native American purification herb with Jupiter because of its warmly expansive scent, but its waxy whiteness gives this species of sage a nice Moon component. You can use the leaves of this whole herb to make your own smudge sticks or to wrap around magickal objects to protect them from negative energies. You can easily tincture this herb in 151 Rum or jojoba to make a liquid form for magickal use. Unfortunately, fires in the West, where this herb is harvested, have meant prices have gone up, and it is estimated they will go higher this season.
