Set Incense
This incense was designed to compliment the Oil for Set (Foreign
Devil), by expanding on the repertoire of scents that can
evoke him. The foundation is myrrh, often tied to Mars due to its
thorns and thereby (to our minds) connected with this red-identified
desert being. There's a bit of frankincense to represent the eye
of Re, which Set put out in one of their tussles. We included a number
of warm spices, like cloves, long pepper, cumin, cardamom, cinnamon,
and nutmeg, for Set's desert heat, but also selected the perfume
of coriander and a fruity lavender for Set's more ambiguous side.
We also added a bit of red with premium dragonsblood resin.
