Green Man Incense
Here's a spirit we personally feel close to. Since childhood, the place we have felt most at home is in the woods. The idea of not only rebirth but of an abiding spirit, one that hangs on through the winter and, although it might not be openly visible, that can be felt by folks in the woods, has always both inspired and comforted us. Green Man Incense honors that spirit who underlies the woodlands, evoking the aliveness and energy that we can feel pulsing right below the surface of the carpet of pine needles, dead leaves, and green moss. To our minds this spirit is trans-cultural, a welcome presence available anywhere in the world where trees grow in even the smallest copse (or sidewalk planter). Use it for honoring that abiding and comforting aspect of the Earth, and for getting in touch with the very grounded and yet wild aspect of yourself. This incense, like all of our blends, is hand-compounded of entirely natural plant materials and essential oils. It includes good earthy scents like spikenard, oakmoss, patchouli, and vetiver married with plant resins and fir needles.
