Alchemy Works Herbs & Resins for Magic
These herbs and resins have historically played a role in Paganism, Traditional Witchcraft, Wicca, ceremonial magick, and other Western esoteric traditions. Because they come from plants, the resins have a depth of scent and a connection to the Earth that fragrances made from petrochemicals can never have.
Each page contains information about the herb or resin's historical uses and suggestions for incorporating it into a modern practice. Click the planet/element link for an overview of the plant's correspondences, including which deities, stones, times, magickal works, etc. align with its ruling planet or element.
We pack our dry herbs and resins in waxed glassine bags that are recyclable, biodegradable, and good for short-term storage (we suggest glass for long-term). Viscous resins, like Balsam of Peru and Storax, come in glass vials.
